Respect, bing_O. I agree with you totally. Immigration is what makes America as well as other places in the world like Australia and The Netherlands more economically stable. Diversity has a dramatic influence on the ability to attract brilliant minds as well and expand our leadership in globally-desirable high value-add services, arts/entertainment and manufacturing.

well, i am defintely not FOR illegal immigration, and if there was a magical thing that we can do to get rid ofit with NO ill effects, I am all for it...but its basically two sides of the same coin. the same reason that we attract the brilliant minds is the reason why we attract the illegals who annoys a lot of people. the truth of the matter is, its a compromise, and we have to realize that and move on to finding ways to improve the situation, instead of trying to change it or end it

think of it as modding your car, the same thing that cuases your car to go faster, is also causing more wear and tear on your car...if we all found a magical mod that gives us insane hp, butkeeps the same gas milleage, same relaibltiy, costs nothing, basically not have a single down side, i am sure we would all have it, but i think everyone here knows this doesnt exist, so we move on and try to find the best compromise :)

When you say the boader there is a fence that lies between us but the problem goes well beyond the boarder. I fact the most illegals are not even on the boarder, they have gone north  or even out of CA. We all pay for this in federal taxes but we just see it more than other because we are on the boarder.
