Got Camber?

Recommended Posts

Thanks guys. More updates.

I have all of the tubing bent and at my shop. I have to start machining the components, start fabricating the right side a-arm and then make the fixtures. I should be able to make some real progress by weeks end.

Pics and progress by the end of the week.

Cool!

Looks absolutely awesome! What's your thoughts on these bushings and joints holding up through an NE winter?

They should last at least as long as the stock arm. The only real change is the rod end. The fixed end is virtually identical as the factory one. It's cast and unpainted. This will at least be painted.

Arms look well engineered/made, nice.

I've had zero luck getting Heim joints to live on the street, any chance on a different style end on the outboard side?

Here here, the saga of the QBM endlinks and their heim crunch after one winter! Really, any chance of anything else?

I don't think we'll see those issues in this case. The heim is bigger, is working in a different direction and in an area that doesn't see as much abuse as the end links. It could actually be a solid rod end, it does not have to be spherical.
