VOLVOPHILE
Every so often this car just amazes me at how well it was designed. I absolutely love my car and plan on keeping it for many years to come. I am always happy that I was able to afford a car that has so many premium features, is unbelievably comfortable and a total blast to drive. From the auto a/c, fresh air vents, heated seats, self leveling shocks, safety cargo net and so, so much more it is just awesome. A couple years ago I noticed something in the manual that I had completely overlooked. I bet there are a bunch of other things I have missed or some of you have discovered. I thought it would be great idea to compile a list so I will start with a couple. My first two are in the manual.Folding Front Seat - This is absolutely awesome. If you move the seat all the way back, then tilt forward all the way, you can use two levers at the rear of the front seat to have it fold completely flat. It has made some Home Depot runs very easy.A/C Off on WOT - When you gun it, pedal to the metal, the a/c compressor automatically, momentarily turns off to give you full power. BEJinFBK
Another cool feature is the "Right Angle Hood Position".Open the hood, find the locking blocks in the hinges that prevent further upward travel. If you have a closer look, they pivot about 10 degrees...Pull them out, then keep opening! You can stand the hood straight up for much better access to the back of the engine bay. When you close the hood, they automatically return to the "regular" position. You may also find a rear bumper protector in the underfloor storage area. It's a fabric flap that folds out to cover the bumper top for loading and unloading. These Swedes! I love'em!

NChoy
Not so much what the car can do, but have you seen the original factory accessory catalog for these cars? There's a TON of really cool add-ons and convenience items that used to be available (some still are at the stealership).
Sam_V70R
Its the stereo that takes my breath away , some cars in the last few years started offering a auto volume (for wind /engine noise) volvo put it on the 901 .....13 years ago!!! Also did you know that if you are unlucky enough to be in the same country as a national disaster(power plant explosion or natural disaster) the stereo will switch on auto and let you know , without having to press any news buttons . I regularly think to my self how clever Mr V70R just must have been .
