550
Well there is no software per-se... that will just interpret it. We need to make some headway into what hex dump does what... then make a rom editor that will make it easy to edit and change values and know what they are. (i.e not just fly by the seat of your pants. heh

Guest Crazy_Swede
Hey Bay13 what's inside the VCT2000?It would be nice to know if it's possible to build an PC adapter that works with VADIS.. Maybe you can take some high-res photos of the inside (component and bottom side) and put it up or send for view?I assume that VCT2000 uses both K-line ISO9141-2 / 14230-4 (KWP 2000) and CAN

Zac
I've read and disassembled the PES ECU I bought for my 96R but I believe the other chip they added (Programmable logic chip sorta deal) keeps it from returning any valid results for some map data (or maybe it is valid stuff-some of their maps were just maxed out almost everywhere...either way the car still ran on a copy of their chip but seemed weird and eventually started to throw a p605 code)I lost a lot of steam in the project, but my next plans were to get an unmodified copy of an 850R rom (Anyone got a hookup for me? I don't have any good soldering equip so I just fubared my old ECU board when trying to remove the chip so that ideas out) The next plan was an emulator. There are some fairly decent ones out there but they are intended for eproms as far as I can tell. (Means switching pins and stuff)
