turbobrick Posted March 17, 2005 Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 ... this was on a highway merge, he romped on it, so i romped on it, and reeled him in, then we proceeded to line up next to eachother and go at it again from about a 55 kick.. i couldn't believe i pulled on him, me and my buddy had a pretty good laugh, still rather have an nsx than my T5 any day of the week, the car screamed sex. but just looking at the specs on the 3.0 liter, 250 hp and 3200 lbs is indeed beatable in our cars, (modified of course) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ChuckV986 Posted March 17, 2005 Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 I've driven a few 3.2l 6 speed NSXs. They could poo on any Volvo I've ever been in even if they were in the wrong gear. They run high 12s at 110 with a good driver. It might have been a 3.0l auto? They would be slow at those speeds if he didn't kick into the right gear. They only ran low 14s in the low 100s. Maybe he was toying with me or maybe my 5 speed 99 S70 runs better then you think. 1/8 may not be low 13,s because of the start but 30-100 mph, bring it on. Just like when I pulled on a GTO, Why in heavens name would I make up such stuff. JHEIII874T5M Posted March 17, 2005 Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 on stock chip and a 15G I made 262 WHP so don't be so proud of your "over 260 whp from 2-6K" btw... 260 WHP at 2K would be rather impressive Anyways, I have on video me running a stock NSX, this guy has pretty much redone the whole car so she's brand new, we did it for fun, a 45 - 70 punch, and guess what... he crept away, then I came back on him and we stayed even, not that impressive, nice guy though and we chilled all night. Johann's 850, with the 19t and every known goodie got ~280whp with serious remapping by RICA.260whp for what he's got ain't bad. could squeeze out maybe 20 more, but that's about it.
