I try not to degrade or desparage anyones religion, especially if they do not try and force it upon me.In his time, Jesus was a Liberal. His ideas and teachings forced change and went against the Conservative culture with their traditional views. So, before you go using Liberal as a four letter word, remeber that your savior was one. My money is on there was no such thing then, in fact my guess is that if you tried to come up with a streight translaltion for liberal or conservative it couldn't be done. Liberal is not what the main steam is not doing, especially if the main stream has evolved so far from the original intent that you wouldn't recognize the original with present. And it was Conservative people that Killed him.←he railed on the liberals as much as he railed on the legalistic conservatives...look at the saducees for reference, not just the pharasees. he was bringing back to life what had been taught in the first place, and denounced the burden that the pharasees were putting on the Jews...if that's what you are referring to when you speak about going against the conservative culture.
