Ihatespeedbumps
Mike isn't the only one with a double R garage now Some of you might have seen this on VS, but I found this beauty locally for 2500. Fixed it on the car lot with 5 coils plugs plus a fuel pressure sensor. Car lot owner purchased from a local dealer and didn't want to invest any time or money in the car so he conceded to selling it wholesale. Runs and drives like a raped ape. More pictures/details to come soon. 1

JRL
Not a whole heck of a lot unless you have them skinned and refinished
Tzantushka1568908311
It starts off like that and ends up like this:My name is ihatespeedbumps and I am a R-aholic....
Ihatespeedbumps
I've got some things I need to do to the VR and then the SR is going up for sale. Insurance is raping me right now as I'm 28 and my driving record has a few blemishes. Also maintenance on two R's is not something I'm interested in. NEU
NICE catch! Yeah I'd ditch the sR in a heartbeat... Now you are a REAL vR guy...

Ihatespeedbumps
Added some new parts last weekend. Not pictured is the OEM clutch kit, OBX DP and exhaust pipe to delete the resonator. Currently everything is installed by the car is still down because the angle gear is also stripped Used angle gear should be here in the morning and I'll have it back on the road for some light driving until the clutch breaks in. Thought I'd post this video of the slave, it made no audible noise with the engine running. Clutch was definitely original. flyfishing31568908306
less typing, more wrenching.
Ihatespeedbumps
So the angle gear went in without a hitch. Unfortunately the poorly designed bushing in the shift cable decided it didn't want to make it out of the shop. A set of used shift cables is in route. Fun fact. Want to order new shift cables from Volvo? You'll need those in addition to a new shifter mechanism on top of the transmission.
gdrien
Try Leatherique for your seats; it does wonders! I'd suggest buying the 32 ounce kit, which contains one 32-ounce bottle each of the "rejuvinator" and "prestine clean" (their terms and spelling, not mine). You will probably need to do multiple treatments, which is why I suggest that size; it's enough for two or three treatments of every leather surface in the car. Unlike others (like Zaimo, Lexol), this stuff soaks in and plumps and "feeds" the skins. After it absorbs for 24-48 hours, then you use the cleaner. I know, I sound like a shill for the company, but I have no affiliation whatsoever. I first bought it to try to salvage the horribly abused leather in our 2001 V70 2.4T, which (from what I can see in your photo) were in much worse shape than yours, and when I saw the results I was stunned. Except for a few of the largest cracks, all the hundreds of smaller cracks closed up; as a side benefit, the "old car" smell was eliminated. So now I recommend it to anyone who asks for my opinion/input. Try to look past the lame website (leatherique.com)... they're obviously not spending time or money on corporate image. Fine by me. Ihatespeedbumps
Since it's been a few months I thought I'd share some updates. Turns out, this car was poorly cared for. I'm pretty sure the previous owner knew what was coming and decided to trade. Also, I sold the SR back in December so my insurance is back to manageable. Since purchase 7 months ago I've done the following: OEM clutch w/ single mass flywheel from VIVANew intermediate lever and shift cables due to broken cables when trans was removedReplaced angle gear collar and installed used angle gearOEM plugs and coilsFuel pressure sensorSnabb intake pipeForge CBV18" OEM Pegs w/ new tiresKenwood DNX 419, Sirius and back up cameraIPD Track Spec swaybarsDIY strut bar conversionOBX down pipeResonator deleteOEM TCVReverse light switch What I've got left to do:Snabb FMIC kitSlightly used shocks this summerIPD subframe inserts (back ordered) I'm still battling some over boost issues and the front shocks are pouring oil. Not pictured are the OEM load bars that are sitting in my garage. They will share dual duty between my car and Mom's 06 V70 2.5T. I still smile every day I get to drive this thing. Plans for the future are to upgrade further and in the next few years buy an auto R for daily use and put the FG in the garage. Currently at 117k and wanting to keep the miles relatively low. Will post pics once the FMIC is installed. Anyways, on to the pics. As mentioned previously the PO let his dogs and children run amuck. Here are the damage photos I know I've never posted a picture of the trailer hitch, but it's quite an odd looking creature.
