Che'_Moderator
No difference Mine's still at 32-33mpg at 55mph ←Was bored so tried it on 4 cars yesterday. Here is what I learned:1. Dont rev the engine when you are adding it to the intake path. When you do it just blows it through and does not deposite it. Let the engine idle and just slowly add the seamfoam.2. The can is BS. 5 minutes is not long enough. Let it sit 10-15 minutes.3. This stuff does soften some rubber You guys with stock vac lines may wanna go look at the vac line you induced it on. Che'_Moderator
but chuck... you think it works?←No way to say. I have never pulled an engine right after I used it. I remember on the old carb cars you used to do this. For what its worth it fixed a sticking lifter on K-dawgs car
Gregg
My ticking that I had is completely gone now, and the car is just much quieter overall. I can't say that I've noticed any difference in performance, but it seems to idle a lot more smoothly and quietly.

lax01
alright, I need to redo it...I probably have a 1/3 fo the can left (inducted too much but it just went straight through)....I'll try it next weekend...Charles a good way to stop the vacumn line thing is to just induct it straight into the tree via one of the un-used vacumn ports...I think
Guest Guest
Can someone please provide a picture indicating exactly where I would go about taking the Seafoam through the intake? And if possible, the size of tubing I would need? Thanks :)

Rooooney
Wow- this seafoam stuff is getting a lot of attention, rightly so. I was getting about 315 mile per tank and after I used the sea foam in my gas and vaccum lines I got about 400. Great stuff

pete0r
so would it really do anything to add it to a tank of gas on my car?

Rooooney
I can provide a picture but I do not know how to. Where do I attach it?
lax01
guys for vacumn induction, just get a piece of vacumn line and hook it up to an unused vacumn port on the vacumn tree....then just turn the car on and let the vacumn line slowly suck the seafoam out of a bottle...by the way, there are full instructions IN THE OTHER THREAD
pwebb
Problem is: I know nothing about cars. I do not know where the vacuum tree is, nor do I know what size tubing I should use. A picture would be nice ^_^
