Kendall
So I am thinking about hitting up Baton Rouge for a couple days, but I have a somewhat fragile doggy. He knows and likes Charlie a great deal, however he is only close with me. If I take him to BR he'll be staying with me at a friends apt where I am sure he will get neglected because I'm sure I'll be drinking/visiting with friends. If he stays with Charlie it'll be a new place and he knows Malish and Roo, but they arent totally comfy with each other. Charlie says he will come and stay at the house with him most of the day/night, but I am worried that that might even be worse because he'll be wondering when the hell I am going to be coming back. I dunno....

Always smart to keep a can of Dogburger Helper in the ruck . If he's not too active he won't be too lean to cook.
Mr. Norm
Yer dog will be happiest in his own home with someone he knows, even if it isn't you. Certainly this was true for my old German Shepard.

Chris_R
That's just not right...If he's Alabama Road Hound he should be smoked, sliced and/or pulled and served with BBQ sauce, coleslaw and sweet tea. Sheesh!
