Very sweet times there, mate!

How much would your friend charge for tuning my setup?

I've installed Upsolute 236hp chip right now.

I know that 16T isn't much of a whistler Razz

And would your friend consider coming to Estonia? We have numerous abandoned air strips here where it's possible to do mapping.

Friend takes about 300euros of custom tune made in street or dyno. He only tunes in Kuopio Finland and because this is his hobby so hi is very busy. Thanks.

Current project 2009-2010. Hardware installed and tune coming with bigger injectors in this spring 2010 with summer tires. Winter tires now on and icy roads. Smile Goal with 1.6bar 350hp with stock EMS2000. Now using only 1.2bar and 300hp.

Volvo S40 T4 1998 (B4194T):

-Masterpower 810023-063 turbo (44 lb/min flow)(Same size as GT3071 T3 0.63A/R) http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o143/VulvaS40T4/MasterPow er810023.jpg

-V-band internal wastegate http://www.turbomeck.se/v-band-garrett-5

-Pro Turbo wastegate actuator (1.1bar spring)

-Custom made exhaust manifold with T3 flange (EGT and manifold backpressure connections also)

-3" RST exhaust with two straigh through mufflers and no CAT

-630cc siemens deka injectors swapped in tune (Now still 440cc injectors and mapping made for Td04hl-18T 7#)

-Custom intercooler on stock place

-Walbro 255lbs fuel pump in tank

-Hestec electronic boost control with 3 different boost settings

-MPE custom tune for Siemens EMS2000

-2.75" aluminium intake pipe from MAF to turbo

-Plx A/F wideband lambda

-B4204S intake and exhaust cam

-Phase 1 MAF

-K&N filter in stock filterbox

-STOCK Clutch, Pistons, Rods

Update on this:

Now this car running with Civinco Standalone SA500G3 and tuned by myself.

http://www.civinco.com/bc_system_StandAlone_eng.html

Also new cams with 9.7mm lift and 265degree duration(hydraulic lifters still).

Video 100-150km/h with 1.5bar boost and only 10 degree ignition timing and 7000rpm limiter:

http://s119.photobucket.com/albums/o143/VulvaS40T4/?action=v iew&current=MOV00219.mp4

Power and torque 1.5bar:

http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o143/VulvaS40T4/civincopower7015015bar.jpg

Next im measuring exhaust back pressure and then if its okay getting extra spring to wastegate to get more boost on high revs. Also exhaust cam retarding will be tested. Now intake cam is max retarded and exhaust cam in center.

Nice pull from 100-150 km/h Smile.

So, will you raise boost level?

Where did you get 9,7mm lift "hydro" cams?

Cams are made by local cam specialist from stock t4 cams. Now backpressure to boost pressure ratio is 1:1.5 so it seems that turbo is in its limit. Propably integral wastegate is generating more back pressure because with external wastegate like your setup you get lower back pressure and more potential.
