arrtchiu Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Forum activity seems to have really died down since the change, maybe you could set reply notifications to be on by default? That was what we had before and I'd say was probably a major contributor to people coming back to the site.Re: IE9 compatibility, you can add a HTTP header to your responses to tell it to go to IE6/7/8 compatibility mode. Might be worth it as a short term solution Quote

Guest arrtchiu Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Any chance you could turn on SSL? Even with a self-signed cert... just so your average tcpdump'er can't get a password/session at least.Oh, speaking of which - am I correct in guessing the iOS app doesn't use SSL at all either? Quote

I have extra IPs for SSL and at one point used them for log in but really added nothing other than a couple hundred dollars a year cost and some lag. Quote

daveherz827 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 Limitation of php. Thats why I installed the google search option. Click the drop down and select google site searchWow that saves a lot of trouble... glad I finally found this. Also, I'm not sure if this is where I would post this. If its relatively simple, you guys should add a random thread button I always come on here to find new stuff, and that would make it way easier hahaha anyway thanks! Quote
