PLANT
Swedishparts has it cheaper but no shipping to OZ.......do have a mate that maybe able it bring it back.... Took it back and definately coming from the joins at top\side of hose. He put screw clamps on the 3 places and tightened all three. See if this resolves it? The oem has 3-5 clamps and comes in 3 parts?
PLANT
So far the new clamps are doing the job as only driven the car a few times and leak not apparent in garage on review..... Bit more driving required to be convinced!

Have to organise a day when they will have it in the shop to see if they can isolate the leak when on the hoist ......

PLANT
So took it back to mechanic and next Tuesday 225K service which involves a Tune. Been running on 95 RON. Looking at having shift(gear knob) button replaced as cracked. The top of radiator hose is still leaking and noted leaking out of top of reservoir too. Mechanic looking at colour saying it is not green and "could be"\leaning towards HEAD GASKET needing to be replaced..... How much is a HEAD GASKET replacement? How long between cabin filter replacement do you wait?
PLANT
Mechanic saying this is NOT a common problem!
R11CKSO
What color is the fluid then? from the picture looks like the dreaded oil/coolant mix. Open your expansion tank, if you see something that resembles a frapuccino (light brown and thick) you have coolant and oil mixing, also check the oil dipstick if it has signs of the above, which in my almost 10 year experience with these cars is caused by one or combination of these; -cracked cylinder liner (very common) - cracked head (common) - cracked oil cooler ( unlikely but still possible) i have yet to see one oil-coolant mixing problem that's related to a head gasket, so if indeed those fluids are mixing, chances are you need to replace something engine wise, 99% of the time is related to an overheat issue which caused an expansion on the head/block and caused a crack where oil and coolant mix, resulting in that thick milkshake looking fluid. PLANT
Hi R1CKSO appreciate the info. I have had the expansion tank filled over 4 times now with water and coolant. Definitely goes from green to frapuccino, in that expansion tank dries out due to the leak as per the pictures(top of radiator hose) Replaced twice with two different after market hoses. The inside gauge has never indicated overheating? It currently sits just right(mm) of centre after the last temperature sensor was replaced and I had the fuel injector replaced. So is a cracked cylinder liner replaceable and cheaper that a head gasket? I assume a cracked head is expensive fix? The mechanic ran the pressure pump on the expansion tank 3 months ago and it did not show any leakage\decreased pressure?????? Any tests I should recommend he perform for service next Tuesday to confirm above ideas without having to rip the motor apart to confirm?
PLANT
The coolant is noticeable on garage floor....or ice cream container I have put down over a few days....can see it running from top of radiator hose pipe that has new clamps as tight as possible.
