I couldn't take a picture of them after I noticed because we were all backed up against the water. Carson might go swimming for the best shot, I won't. Maybe we can get emmick to post some pics here. You can leave them as is as long as they are stripped of all dirt, wax buildup, etc. If you really want to, I've just hit them with a scotchbrite to dull the finish.
