hgray14 Posted October 24, 2019 Report Share Posted October 24, 2019 The stereo in the wife's XC70 is skipping around between source, running through the FM 1, FM 2, FM 3 and AM. It just scrolls through for a while and then lands on one and plays for a little while. It then randomly cycles through again and lands where ever it wants. I had this problem in my old 850 and a simple stereo replacement fixed the issue. I have already replaced the stereo once in this car (about 2 years ago) so I am wondering is this just a stereo issue? Is it happening again simply because the used stereo I installed is having the same issue, or is there something else I should be checking? ...also, how do I change my signature line? I was afraid of that, although, I guess it's better to know it's a simple fix (relatively) and self-contained than one that I have to track down.
