I have S60 2.4T AWD 2002 with manual 5q trany, and i am interested in swaping a T5 engine, Is it posible to bolt on a T5 00-04 from V70 to my Transmission? 2. Preparations on T5 for more power? Geting forged rods for reliability is the first thing that comes to my mind, i Heard about cracking cylinder walls on S60R engines and solving the problem with metal sheets between cylinders, should i worry about it on this engine? 3. If i decide to do it could i use ecu with wiring from the originál engine or i have to get wiring loom for T5 4. What to pay attention to when going this way? 5. More future upgrades?! clarc Posted January 31, 2020 Report Share Posted January 31, 2020 Made some more progress on the fuel and intake system and it's ready for more boost. We maxed out the 630cc injectors (rated at 3bar) running 5 bar fuel pressure. DW came through with an awesome deal on some 900cc ev14s and I installed the 4" maf housing (up from 3.5").
