Matt01
As many of you know 2002 and under model years have problematic throttle bodies, I have read that they do interchange from Junkyard cars without programming (these days its about keeping the cars running on a budget right? right.) Some have original white stickers, replacement units are yellow sticker, this much I know. I finally found a yellow sticker in the Junkyard, I bought it cleaned it out, but the car runs terrible with it, and the unit emits a constant buzz even after the car is shut off. I guess this would mean it's not compatible, and I know turbo / NA units aren't compatible, but are auto/manual units swappable? My car is a 2002 V70 Manual, the donor ETM was a 2001 Automatic s60. Anyone know details? Does exact year/tranny make a difference? Thanks!
Ihatespeedbumps
You must go N/A to N/A or turbo to turbo, that is the only requirement. You can interchange 5 and 6 cylinder as long as you follow the previously mentioned rules.
