B5234T 2.5 Liter Stroker

Was wondering what parts i need to buy so i can get a 2.3L from the 850 T5 to a 2.5L.

The B5254T/S uses the same crankshaft, so its a no no, and as im planning to buy maXpeeding rods forged crankrods i need the new crankshaft to be "bigger".

any information?

For 2.5 you'd need a 93.2mm crankshaft from an B5244T5 or B5254T2/T4 and 83mm pistons so you'll get 2521ccm.

well, i only looked around for a bit, and to my (very little) knowledge, it would be rather expensive compared to just upgrade the pistons and use more turbo pressure

The best way is to get the 93.2mm crank and leave the bore at 81. You'll get 2401ccm just like the facelift 2.4 T5, which is the best engine.

so can i use the crankshaft from the revised T5 and still use aftermarket forged conrods for the b5234t.

No. with the longer stroke you have to swap pistons and rods too. B5234T has 139.5mm rods, B5244T5 has 143 or 143(cant remember) and different pistons because the longer stroke.
