kontrabant Posted August 19, 2020 Report Share Posted August 19, 2020 Hi guys , i have a 2001 volvo s80 2.4t b5244t3 with aisin aw55-50 and i want to tune it with a td04hl-18t and bigger injectors , the parts are mounted on the car and it's running but it's time for remapping the ecu , and my question is : is there a option to lock the transmission on 3th or 4th gear for a few dyno runs , because the kickdown is unwanted effect and we want to push it to the floor without changing a gear Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WSTL Posted September 20, 2020 Report Share Posted September 20, 2020 Do your car have a kickdown switch that you can feel when you push it to the floor? if so put it in winter mode and in drive then you can go WOT in 3rd gear without kickdown.
