Volvo's You See Daily

I decided to do this because today in just about an hours worth of time, I saw 23 Volvo's.

I'd say 6-10...or maybe abit more or less. Usually a mix of 240's, 740's, some newer models. But usually it's mostly 850's. :)

When you sit in traffic gridlock for at least an hour a day 12 lanes across, I guarantee I see at least 100.

I see about 6-10 per day. Mostly 850 models.

I couldn't count how many I see daily. Of course I do work at a dealership........

Ok maybe I should have specified about that. I will say this. If you work at a dealership, or live close by to one. Do not count cars on the lot. Only cars that come in for service or are there to look at another car, that does not include cars on the lot that need service though.

DC metro area has a large concentration of Volvos. S/V70's are the most common. I still see large amounts of RWD bricks, and 850's. Starting to see alot of XC90's and newer P2 cars.

I ended up seeing 43 Volvo's today, not including the three my family owns.

On an added note. Audi's and BMW's where out in full force too. I would say I saw at least 10-20 of each of those as well.

In LA probably round 10+ a day. In OC maybe less than 5.

Depends how long I'm outside though. :blink:

i'd say i see 7 consistantly. on my way to work, i always see a green 850 N/A Wagon going the opposite direction. then i see a red 850 GLT(probably N/A as well) on the freeway. i drive past a white V70 right near my work. i guy i work with has a 245 and a 744. when i go to the store for lunch i usually see a V40 and a couple of 850s in the parking lot. and on the way home from work i've ben seeing a 940 or 960 wagon.

i am not a stalker. just very observant. i swear.

I'm not going to vote because I see a few some days and millions the next. San Francisco probably has the highest concentration of Volvos next to Sweden. There is a block in the Richmond District that has 10 Volvos on the same side of the street.

I see a ton every day. There is probably one 740 or 240 for every 20 students at my school who drive. On top of that, there are many 850s there, too.

I said 16-20

The most common one is the S40 (for the moms)

Then the S60

Then the XC70 & XC90

If I spent time counting the bimmers & mercs I see everyday, I'd never get a break to go to the bathroom! Same with Toyota Corolla's & all kinds of Honda's, VW Golfs & Polos.

Volvo isn't actually that common in SA, they're mainly here where I am in Johannesburg (Gauteng provence). When I drive down to the coast, the only other Volvo's I see have the Gauteng licence plate... .
