RobT5M Posted August 4, 2021 Author Report Posted August 4, 2021 One small thing a day as I battle some depression. One small project Ive been putting off, after work, before dinner. Monday was fixing the wiring on the rear tow harness (not like ill ever tow anything with that 1.25". No photos. Tuesday was swapping to black roof cross bars, small feet as it sounds, but I installed new rubber and bolts as the black sets I had were pretty rough compared to the silver set. Everyday I try to stop saying no to working on the wagon as I really have no need or want to anymore.

RobT5M Posted August 11, 2021 Author Report Posted August 11, 2021 Yeeeaaaahhhhh Depression won last week 😅 So starting again. Today was replacing fuel cap door since I broke the little hook trying to put a cap with leash on... And since I realized before I took it apart that I couldn't replace the speaker in the new door with the correct one, I installed the LED sidemarkers someone gave me. If anyone knows a part number or size for those rivets, or just a good way to reinstall the speaker with screws, lemme know.

Fabbed up some slide bolts for the aero bar tracks and installed the side canopy for the large volvo meet this past Sunday. Debating leaving it on or taking it off, as ill need it again next month for a camping trip. Need to finalize my mounting though as I would rather not run the extra set of cross bars.

I'm this close | | to just buying a $200 double din drop in from China for this thing lmao. But at this point im fairly certain ill be fixing up any things it still needs and selling it within the next year. Looking at getting a new vehicle as a family cruiser.

Firmware was last updated in 2019 (new GPS maps) and it’s been tweaked to remove the GPS/parking brake interlock so you can actually use controls without the brake engaged.

Dam thats a good price, but honestly I think im going to keep the stock HU since im not planning on having the wagon past mid-late 2022. Currently looking at the VW Taos or some other crossover-midsize suv. Still havent pulled the radio to see whats up with the grom issue.

New Strut Assemblies New Control arm / Ball joint New Moog Endlinks New Blower Motor Blower motor ended up being the what seems to be common issue of a random string. Old Strut Assemblies.
