WTB 98' C70 Driver side Window Regulator and Switch

My window has trouble rolling up since purchasing my C70 last year but I managed with it. Recently I have no response when trying to roll up the window on both sides. I had a diagnostics completed. They said I need to replace the window regulator and switch but that they could not find any parts available.  I need help with finding the correct parts so they can properly fix my windows. For now I opened the door paneling and used a clamp to hold the pully in place so that the window does not fall down. The window still is not fully in the upright position.

If you have the spare parts for sale or you know where to buy them please let me know, thank you.

What exactly is the issue with the regulator?  I don't own a C70, so I'm no expert on this topic, but I've repaired a few window regulators in my day.

Online I found window regulator repair kits for less than $100, and full regulator assemblies for many $100s!

Also find it a little surprising that they found the switch bad and it needs a regulator; can't say for sure maybe these guys are just shot-gunning the estimate to make sure they cover everything before they tear into it.  If they've never done one of these before (which is likely?) maybe they're overwhelmed by all the cable mechanisms?  Just guessing a bit.  What was their estimate and where exactly did they look for parts?  Not going find something like this at Autozone..

When I bought the C70 last year, the previous owner said the windows did not work and the switch was taped up. I Took the tape off the switch and found that the windows did work. If I rolled the window down too much the window would get stuck in the down position. To get the window back up I would have to pull up on the window and then roll up the window with the switch. I continued like that until a month ago. I pressed on the window switch too long and the window was again stuck in the down position but when I tried to pull the window back up I got no response from the switch. The switch rolls down the window but will no longer roll it back up. the next day I tried to roll the passenger window down a bit and found the switch stopped working for the other window as well.

My guess is the window regulator has been on its last leg for awhile and the previous owner knew that as well. And now the switch is also going out slowly but surely.

I know the switch is going out because the window on the passenger side had no issues rolling down and up be it slowly.

I think the regulator is bad because the window needed my help to roll it back up. the regulator didn't have the strength.

I may have found a regulator online but i'm not sure if it will fit. Thanks for the help.

Edit: I don't know where they looked for parts. There was no quote because they never found the parts.

They pretty much said. "we can fix it if you get the parts."

Quip here,

Update: I'm at work now and just for kicks I tried to roll the window up. Smoke began to pour from the switch. So the switch is non operable now. Also I found out the regulator and the window motor are two different things. Seems it could be the motor and switch. I dont know enough about the two to know though.
