LEvente1312
Hi guys! Im 15 years old and my dream car is a s60r. I'm really interested in the car tuning community and i also love volvos. So. Besides that i need a bigger turbo, bigger injectors, intercooler and exhaust upgrade do i have to change the internals? How much power can handle an engine like this with stock internals? Thanks for your answers!
Zappo
It depends on what car you are trying to modify.

Guessing a s60r OP You're going to want to shim and possibly even sleeve that block... Those variants don't really handle the 400+ range all to well with its thin walls. Zappo
Depends on crank 400, or wheels 400. Old Man Rant: Get the car first, learn to drive the car, then mod the car. At 15, you think you can drive, but you can't. Definitely not enough experience for a 400hp car. My first car was 85hp when it was new, but I still got into trouble with that. Half the weight of an S60R, but still.

It's ironic that those first few cars can be the slowest, but get you into the most trouble, right? 😄
