tcu9633
I did a little researching and found out that the 93-94 models had VVIS. A forum user named razorx or something like that used to sell a module that bypasses excellently. Ive tried reaching out to this user on another forum and cannot find the user anywhere on here. anyways i was wondering if anybody might know how to make this module or maybe know how it works. surely some profit there right? let me know im new here on forum. really want to do this mod specifically or just delete it with an intake from a non vvis. im not technologically inclined enough to make my own module maybe i should start there haha
bmdubya1198
I'll preface this by saying that I'm not familiar with the control side of the VVIS system, however I don't see why it couldn't just be deleted by installing a non-VVIS intake manifold. I feel like deleting it and keeping the manifold would cause a lack of torque in the lower or higher RPMs depending on the resting position of the runner adjuster. Is it not just vacuum controlled? If not, and it throws an error code, you could probably disable that with some sort of resistor similar to how the secondary air injection is deleted. Don't quote me on that, though.
