Karim
Hello Volvo Community, I have and old V70 T5 1997. When I drive above 200kph, I keep losing my turning lights. This week, I've lost the 3rd turning light on the highway. Does anyone know which turning lights don't fall out? Am I installing them wrong? As far as I know, they just slide in, there is no spring to hold them in place like in the 850. picture: https://imgur.com/a/bRhary8 I appreciate any tips! Jamesjesse
Hi, the signal does not just slide in, it MUST clip into place. There is no actual spring as you say, but it has a plastic "pin" or "tab" that clips to the headlight and bonds them together. You can see it on this video at 0:23 as he is unclipping it by pushing on it. So as well, when you are installing the turn signal, you must make sure it CLICKS into place, not just slides in. You might need to check as well if the piece that it clips to on the actual headlight is not broken, and hence you can only slide it into place. In such case, maybe this ziptie ghetto method could be a fix for you, instead of buying a new headlight:
