jross
Hey, everyone else who has one of these pods, I'm curious: I just test-mounted mine tonight to see if it would fit, and it really looks like it replaces a section of the A-pillar. Y'all sure it fits over?
TorqueSteer
Yes it definately fits over, if it replaced the a-pillar, it would include the part of the A-pillar which extends to the roof. Also theres alot of clips and such which attach the apillar moulding to the metal a-pillar, all which are absent in the aftermarket gauge pods. jross
Eh, I dunno about the clips; it seems to be designed to be screwed into the sheetmetal of the A-pillar. And how do you mean, "the part that extends to the roof"? I thought it did, it looks like it...

I thought it did, it looks like it...←it designed to screw into ur existing "A" pillar...be careful not to screw into the wires behind the "A" pillar, like me....doh!wot he means by the part that extends to the roof is...the part that extends to the "B" pillar (the pillar that holds the seatbelt. jross
Ah, I see. It still looks to me like it replaces the A pillar but whatever. I may take mine off (if it's not too huge a hassle) to see if I can work it on in place.. somehow, it looks too "added on" as-is.

jross
The steel behind the current A-pillar cover. I mean, it's supposed to replace a stretch of the stock A-pillar cover (that really is how it looks to me), so I'm gonna try and swing that. I hear ya on the colormatching, I paid for tan, and it doesnt' really match. However, the A-pillar does seem to be a different shade than the rest of the interior, so I don't really fault them.
