volflo Posted June 22, 2005 Report Share Posted June 22, 2005 ..what one could also do is:1. cut slits with a 90 deg. to the air stream2. make as many as you like with a gap of about half an inch.3. at the end of each slit cut the remaining metal bar (or base, so to say) a bit narrower4. then turn each bar about 35 deg eith the front down and the rear side up5. continue wiht all of the bar you have donein the end you will have dozens of little inverted scoops.This is what some race teams do as well.i think it looks good and you save a bit of weight as well.downside is that you have to repaint the chiz....
