Several years ago, I bought a pair of trunk struts from them. I have been repeatedly having trouble with the claw arm breaking. Anyway, it just happened again the other day so I shot them an email to see if I could buy a replacement piece. Several days later, they mailed me TWO replacement pieces for no charge. Seriously, you dont find places that committed to the customer anymore. I will ABSOLUTELY be sending all my business their way from now on. They have earned it. Black Betty Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 after dealing with fcp various times they dissapointed me today,i called once to ask if the rebuilt p/s pump had a resevior with it they said no, i called back later and asked if the brand new p/s pump had a resevior they said yes, great i needed the p/s pump with the resevior, i then go to order online and they are out. Now im thinking why didnt anyone tell me this when i called asking about it, it would have saved them and me some time. I call back and ask how long does it take to get another one in stock. They reply atleast 2 months, what? do you have to build the factory first then make it? they always have the best prices but what use is it if it will take 2 months or more to get the part? dwhartwell Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 While I've not bought a lot from them I will note that: - Prices are very good - shipping is fast - I had an issue with a defective TB idler tensioner assembly. I ended up using the pulley off the new part and put it on the old assembly. I explained the problem, sent the part back and they refunded my total cost. I ordered e-code headlight lenses from them, I had a concern about the gasket that comes with the lenses not fitting properly, they told me to check on VS to see if others had any issues, told them I had already done that then they suggested I talk to John at Sharphid because he had installed them and was now selling them :lol: Anyway, word of advice, if you buy the e-code headlight lense try and use your stock gasket and buy them from John not FCP Groton. Casper850 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 I replaced nearly the entire suspension, and brake rotors/pads on my daughters 850 using parts bought through FCP that ALL arrived the very next day without issue.I'll be ordering a steering rack from them soon too! Sent an email to Nick, he offered a refund immediately. Got a full refund, it was quick and painless.Nick is always willing to source any part you need, just call him with the PN and he'll source it. No issues, order was smooth and shipping was quick.Neededs a new Axle due to a boot rip.Called Scott and he shipped me an EMPI (not on their site) right away.Customer service was great, all packages were packed extremely well.The axle was like 3 boxes deep with paper barriers between them all.A++So far the axle has performed great....Thanks Scott! So far I have ordered over $1000+ in parts in just the past few months and everytime I call in to get an order they are fast friendly and very easy to talk to. I mean sometimes when they get lots of calls you might be able to hear just a little stress in their voice, but they are still very respectful and honest with you. All of the parts that I have ordered which range from; brakes to fluids and have all worked great! If there was anything at all negative to say about them, it would be that they didn't have a location closer . Overall they are a great place to go to get quite a few parts at a cheaper price without sacrificing quality.
