V Tuning 850
Ok so I called the place, and they said they can weld aluminum.Said it should cost about $60 bucks to do the job.Does that sound resonable?

blown_volvo850r
I have the RFL...mine's mounted right before the TB pointing down so the air can go to the ground. Turning it around and blowing it up muffled it too much. It's sitting right next to the tranny dipstick.~Lee
V Tuning 850
I'm just going to have it mounted on my Upper intercooler pipe. And have it pointed towards the front of the car, or the firewall.

V Tuning 850
Well it is getting put on tonite.I know this has been answered many times before. The CBV it doesn't need to be blocked off? It it just something to think about doing right?
blown_volvo850r
I'm so sick of typing all this.1. Put a 5/32" vacuum hose (or a close size) running from ur vacuum tree to the nipple on the BOV.2. Find the hose that runs from ur CBV, and disconnect it from the intake manifold. Cap that nipple off.3. Put a T in the hose from ur BOV/vacuum tree, and hook the hose from the CBV up to it. Put a one way check valve in the hose to ur CBV, make sure air can flow to it, but not away from it.Do this and ur BOV will be nice and loud, w/o it it won't really vent except until high boost.~Lee

the underlørd
what's the point of installing a BOV, AND the CBV ?
V Tuning 850
If it is going to sound loud with the CBV and save me money why not run both.If having them running at the same time is going to cause me problems, then I block off the CBV. blown_volvo850r
No attitude intended, it was supposed to be funny since I've typed all that about 8 times in the past 2 weeks. It should be fine if u do the vacuum lines. Blanking the CBV off will only eliminate a leaking CBV, or eliminate a future leaking CBV. But unless there's something wrong w/ it, it's not worth the trouble to take off. Try the vacuum lines and let us know how it works.~Lee
the underlørd
it's not worth the trouble to take off.~Lee←sure it is.. 1. I get to sell a blanking plate.2. LOOOOOUUUUDNESS.
