rp850
I don't understand why the spark plug cover would have to be removed to pull the intake manifold? LOL! PRICELESS! Way to go on finishing it though!
yangotang
I don't understand why the spark plug cover would have to be removed to pull the intake manifold?Because there's a breather hose to the top of the crankcase which runs beneath it :josh:

Qbrozen
what car is pictured here? 850?does anyone know if this is basically the same in an S70? does this even need to be done in an S70? I've searched and every writeup I can find is for 850s. FCPgroton only lists the kit for 850s, as well.do folks typically wait for oil consumption or leaks to do this maintenance? Or is it suggested that this be done as preventative maintenance?thanks for any info.
rp850
A good litmus test is to get your car warmed up well and then with the engine running pull the dipstick and oil cap. If you have smoke billowing out, chances are good you may have positive crankcase pressure and the PCV systems should be serviced. If ignored, it could put enough pressure on your engine seals to cause leaks like the dreaded RMS leak. what car is pictured here? 850?does anyone know if this is basically the same in an S70? does this even need to be done in an S70? I know that there is an "upgrade" to the knock sensors that volvo release that eliminates the multiple connections.great job man, thanks for all the pictures
