ontheheel Posted July 31, 2004 Report Share Posted July 31, 2004 like i said, it's people like you who spread conspiracy theories who give liberals a bad name. you show me a credible news source, and i'll believe it(only one of those sites has corroborated sources--and almost all of those are dead links, or op-ed with uncorroborated sources). also, what bearing does this have on the topic at hand? what does that have to do with gwb or ghwb(who fought in wwII)? show me something credible...also, are you going to say next that george bush is friends with osama? you guys crack me up at what you grasp for. it just reduces your credibility when you talk about stuff like that (a rumor about the grandfather of the current president). trust me, i enjoy political debate very much, but when you start pulling stuff like that, i start to ignore you. ontheheel Posted August 5, 2004 Report Share Posted August 5, 2004 (edited) the US is very different from the rest of the world, always has been, and hopefully always will be. reason why? because people who didn't like what their country was doing came here to do things differently (which is how this country was founded and continues to grow). so, most of the time 5 billion people will disagree with what the US does, except in cases where it does things against it's own national interests to bend to the will of foreign governments. i can think of jimmy carter as a good example, and under his "great" leadership the US fell to one of it's lowest points in history in terms of confidence in government. George Bush is the dumbest president to ever defile the White house. He is a puppet that can't think for himself and he can't be re-elected. I can't believe so many of you can't see this. Bush lied to get us into the war, he has turned back our environmental laws by 40 years and anyone who votes for him in the upcoming election is doomed if you believe in the whole afterlife thing. Bush is out for Bush and his cronies and will make them money at the expense of the american people. but you've heard all this be4 and choose to turn a deaf ear because of your distaste for liberal democrats. well, suck it up and vote for the right side that won't make my grandchildren live in a world where environmental issues take the place of obesity as our number one killer, cause if your on the wrong side ...god help us.
