Zappo
I got nothing cool passed down to me. My parents did buy me my first car though. A 73 Chevy Vega for $800. That was before some you nOObs were born. After that I bought my own cars. Parents seldom agreed with my choices, even my Volvo!

Plan_B
The age ranges of the poll are flawed. Which bracket does someone vote for if they're 21, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50 ??? Forgot to mention I sell real estate and have been married for 18 years - yea, before some of you were born ... but nobody better be callin' me "pops" , that's reserved for my 10 y.o. daughter and 4 y.o. son ←Real Estate, NICE......Property Managment here :D

T5BRICK
i'm 24, married for a little over a year. i have an almost 2 year old son. Ian is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. i've leared a lot about responsability and what family really means.some history:i bought my first car, a 1985 celica for $2800 in '96 or '97. i then hit black ice and wrecked it about 2 weeks later. i had the local community college drop the engine, transmission and interior into a 1984 celica that had a blown engine and torn interior. i wrecked it a couple of times, but kept fixing it.in december of last year when the differential in the celica started going out i decided it was time to buy a new car. i started looking at Subaru Legacys, then Toyota Camrys and then i came across this Volvo and LOVED it.so i guess that is why i'm a member here now.
exexpat
I'm pretty new here (registered yesterday) and I'm impressed with the demographics here. I was thinking everyone here would be 19-35, but the college attach rate is higher than expected. I'm 30 with a double degree in International Business and German Language, speak English, German and Chinese fluently (the first 2 more than the latter), understand spoken Dutch and Afrikaans and most every other Germanic language in written form. I was a consultant for 2 years in Germany and Bus Dev/PM in China for 3 years, now at Microsoft. My money is on this forum's members vs. other car forums if we ever ended up in on Jeopardy. How many here belong to MENSA?
Volvoson
I belong to the Seattle Public School system, does that make me smarter then MENSA members?
