Real Bad Volvo 850 Problem

The scariest part of this whole thing is that while the lizard was in the running car, AC on full bore; he actually went in to his house, got on the Internet and told us all about it!

I am sure he was hoping we would have suggestions on what to do. If I was at home, I would simply use my spare key. Of course the NWC doesn't have to worry about iguana living in our cars. :) Spiders maybe, but that is it.

all I can suggest is drive like a complete nice guy until he peeks his head out then have someone grab it and keep it out from your dash. Or, you could put a bomb inside your car (one of those rodent ones) and leave a window open, trying to think of ways to get it without killing it.

Lock smith came and he was able to open the door. 70 bucks to open the door and 20 for the iguana. Expensive day. When he opened the door went and looked for the iguana under the dash and couldn't find him. Looked all over the car and still nothing. Then guess where I found him. Stock in the back right door. Thats the punishment for not screwing back the speakre cover. Check the pics. One Darn crazy day. The entire dash board is in pieces, I spent a ton of money and now I need to put the car back together.

Hahaha wow that thing aint small either!

About 2 weeks after I purchased my first car (Acura Legend) I took apart the dash to install a cd deck and I found a dead mouse in there, darn thing was rock solid too, totally preserved. oh and beside it was a piece of paper with japanese writing on it... perhaps a recipe? hahaha

I think this is the first maintenance thread I actually started cracking up at my comp for! :D
ROFLMAOCOPTER. I have not laughed that hard in years, no kidding! I'll be tracking this thread too. Hahaha, this should be cross linked to show room so that everyone can see it, not just regular visitors of Maintenance. I've never seen iguana's in the wild here. We have gecko's and anoles though, those crazy little lizards. A rat made a home in our Honda's engine bay one time. Next time it was started, it became entangled in the accessory belt; not pretty.

Sum-oh yeah!!!!! That's one huge critter. I hunt deer and birds, but wouldn't have touched that evil looking reptile for love or money. Make a meal for four...

Maybe you can sell it to the pet store and get your C-note outta the deal?

I'm keeping him and building a habitat for him. He's 3 feet long with tail right now and very mean. Tries to bite and claw at me when ever I pick it up. Must miss the volvo. I will post more pics with the habitat and the poor volvo in pieces.
