Guest Prospero
Doug,What is the tranny oil spec? Recommendations for a synthetic?I've been using Redline in my C and also my other 70-series cars. Just saw on my alldata account that the oil from Volvo is synthetic... but there is no real detail. Lemme know if you want a Volvo part number..Cheers,Matt
Guest 300+_T5R_855
I am going to go with the Volvo synthetic for the time being. It doesnt take all that much and is easy to change if needed.

leurven
If you want any special coatings for the future or even some seriously heavy duty equipment, this is the man for you. He did my friend's Maxima engine and said he managed to get ahold of some rods that would be capable of 4000hp (four thousand that is). He used to be in the navy and has a lot of connections that he said he uses to get the special coatings - coatings Nasa and government use. This is stuff you can't find every day.http://www.hekimianracing.com/

Zag-Town Rider
At some point I may change that, but for now it will work just fine. I may run the CAI in from a different place and change it then. It goes down to the spoiler now.I was planning on doing that, I have the "intake hose" too. How did you do it all though, I tried it real quick and noticed major boost leaks, but I didn't really fasten anything too strong. I wanted to talk to someone who did it and see what they did to connect it to the airbox and where the intake was. Whatever you did, can you let me know? PM me or post in here... Thanks. -Alexturbo is addictive I thought I was the only one that felt like that. I love turbo'd cars now, just because of how they work, haha. Guest 300+_T5R_855
I am not sure how you got boost leaks. This is before the turbo not after. The hose you see goes down to the lower opening in the spoiler. I am considering making a new one, but have some fitment to work out.
steve s
boost leak? it's b4 the turbo. one thing u may wanna check is the clearance, as the post-94 long-route intercooler piping may get in the way..
