Guest Guest
Wait so when is this going to go into effect? Because my parents definitly just replaced this on my car and it was brand new (the car, used but new to us). That would be awesome to get reimbursed for this. Did I read right that this could go into effect right about now (December '05)?Go to VexedVolvo.com and it will explain in detail. :)
Guest Rick F
Has anybody actually had their dealer replace an ETM or receive reimbursement due to the "new" extended warranty period?
Guest Guest_Willy_*
I jut got my 01 XC back from the dealer with a cleaned TB and uncolgged crankcase system after it threw codes ECM130A, ECM1300, ECM903F, ECM904d, ECM91A7, ECM9190....the check engine light was on and it kept going into reduced performance. He told me it was the clogged crankcase causing the problem with the ETB and that they would not replace this module until it actually craps out...this only needed a cleaning . Car seems OK now, though this seem like the crap they did prior to this warranty change....the car has 75k on it and I guess I have till 200k from what I read. The good thing was they didnt charge me a thing (I dont have a Volvo warranty, only an extended warranty that stinks anyway) ... he mentioned the are expanding the scope of this thing too.....more vehicles will be invovled from what he said, and in March the software upgrade will help with this TB issue...
