JHEIII874T5M
when I was doing about 157, I looked over at my buddy, and we both definitely felt a third presence... whether it was piss or crap running down our legs or god... who knows I believe in the big man. There's nothing to "learn" only fairy tales. No facts? What do you read? There is plenty of archeological evidence to support many "facts" presentedin the Bible. The fast is, you cannot disprove the contents. My guess is you have not read too much. Debate? The poll asked. Others have responded with their belief and now you know mine. :D
V Tuning 850
The "CHURCH" gave scientists what they say was the fabric that Jesus was wrapped in.The scientists dated it, and found it was only 800 some yrs. old. When scientists asked for more of the fabric, the "CHURCH" refused. If they want people to believe he is real, then why not proof it with this. Because they can't. It is FAKE, not real. However the DEAD SEA SCROLLS are a few thousand yrs. old. Edited December 4, 2005 by V Tuning
JHEIII874T5M
While I tend to believe that appeasing gods and other religious figures by sacrificing lives, etc... in order for the crops to grow better, yeah... that to me is a load of crock. However, whether it just be something in my mind, or an overbearing presence, I have felt and heard things in certain instances that I simply could not have predicted or known. That to me makes me feel that there is a greater power out there, either that, or I'm psychic and know I should call someone to see if they're alright 2 mins. after they get in a wreck, because I felt uneasy over 400 miles away. The Bible and a God/Supernatural presence are not one and the same. The bible was written and edited by people. It includes some historical "facts" like many other very old scriptures do. It also includes some things that simply didnt happen, unless the archeological and anecdotical evidence evaporated into thin air. It does not include any "facts" about there being a God or not.It should be noted it has been shown other "messiahs" were around in those days. Some of them walked on water, through walls, cured the sick....etc.You need to watch Penn&Teller's episode on the bible Try disproving to me there's an invisible monkey on my shoulder...there's as much evidence for that as there is for a God. Some things in the bible have historical relevance, yes. Others are simply bull with nothing at ALL to back it up. Not to mention many extremely cruel, uncompassionate and downright silly passages. hockeyboss77
I am a science guy, need proof to believe it, however, I do believe there is something out there that had to have put the universe out here, so yes, I do believe in god.+
