"Project 6"

Thanks. I actually used the stock shifter but cut it down about 1.25" to make it more of a short shifter. I then used some Italian leather and Burlwood shift knob. As my wife has every sewing machine known to man, she whipped me out a new custom shift boot in about 20 minutes.

Boot looks good, can't really tell what the knob looks like.... that gauge install looks great, too!

I used the stock '00 shifter w/my M66 AWD conversion, and covered the cap w/ red leather....

...looks like you need to take care of that handbrake, too!

I want to chime in and say this has to be my favorite build. Cosmetically, I'm into the blackout deal, but I still love the looks of this car. If I had the time, money and space I would love to do a project just like this. I can't wait to see the dyno results. I'm glued to this thread and your VS Blog.

-Gauges are awesome, where you have them mounted by the stereo, very cool looking

-Rims and black jewel lights kick @$$

-6 speed is amazing, love the boot and shifter knob. So NOT ricer.

-The interior rebuild, cleanup and sound mat, very classy

-Engine looks amazing and your choice of turbo, internal components and injectors are BEASTLY

Good luck with the tune, keep us posted.

-Chris
