ViperVettte
Marriage is not an option right now. I have know more about her...marriage is something I take more seriously than that. That is understandable, I was kinda thinking it was one of those like whirlwind romances where you fall head over heels, and nothing could ever matter. You know, like in that movie 'Love Actually'.... I'm not gh3y, I had a girlfriend when the movie came out, and a good memory. And usually you have such good ideas..... What happened man?and secondly, me... good ideas? sweet!
bottlecap
take it for what it's worth man. you can have regrets for a long time, or you can get to know her and enjoy yourself for the time that you can. and who knows what could happen afterwards. anyways if you're both into eachother than there is fun to be had, and there's some kind of intrinsic good that comes from getting to know a person. bottom line is, time is time, and you got some. so uh, go get some... or something.-mike
ViperVettte
DUDE!Speaking of Love Actually, did you say yes she is Portugese!?!?! That is what one of the women were in the MOVIE! So you have a great time with her, she has to go home. You drive her to the airport, then if you can't stop thinking about her, you go learn some Portugese, and then you fly over there and ask her father for her hand in marraige! It has to work, IT WAS IN A MOVIE!!! IT JUST HAS TO!I swear... i'm not 'happy'... i.e. gh3y.

brick-a-brac
Speaking as one who actually went to live in another country with the woman who is now my wife, I can say that there is something grand and incredibly frightening about following one's heart. Of course, it helps if both parties are approximately on the same page. This sort of thing CAN work out, and the two + years I spent living in Portugal were perhaps the best two years of my life, and I do fully intend to move back at some point.I do agree that there needs to me something solid upon which to base such a radical change.Hope this helps.Cheers!
