MODESTOSCOTT
As for Hillary, I haven't heard anything, but then I am not in New York, and I am usually still at work during the news, so anyone if anyone was talking about it, I wouldn't know. I mostly see it in the paper.
Zappo
Cheney admitted to holding his gun, squeezing the trigger and firing the load that hit his friend Harry Whittington in the chest. Versus Clinton, who denied that Monica Lewinsky held his gun nor sqeezed his trigger nor that he fired his load that stained her blue dress. It is fairly simple to determine who is more honest and credible. They both waited before talking about it. Clinton's gun is a bit less deadly than Cheney's, and Monica wanted to be shot.

kenhoeve
i'll bet cheney did a 180 right there and fired reactionarily just like anyone would do. it's not compeltly cheneys fault, it's half the texans fault.negative and NEGATIVE.i wouldn't let you touch a gun anywhere near me. It is the SOLE responsibility of the shooter to identify his background before he fires. If you are firing in a reactionary manner without doing your checks, you are UNSAFE. When bird hunting it is first and foremost to know the whereabouts of your fellow hunters which means that anyone seeking to exit the area (such as this case), THEY must notify the others that they are moving out. From what I have heard, the victim did not do this, had left the area and was returning to the party while the VP did not know, hence the accident.Evidentally, this is a very common accident in this type of hunting. NateB
Anyone who has ever received proper firearms training is taught not pull the trigger unless you are certain of your target, and what is behind it.Our VP was more than likely HWI ( hunting while intoxicated)- thus the delay in reporting. I mean- he admitted to 1 beer, probably more like a six pack. Mr. Jack Daniels was also seen near the ranch. Great leadership we have these days. He lied about just about everything and all the Democrats were just amazed at how well he lied. He is still idolized by the Democrats. Now that they are out of power it is Bush lied, Bush lied, Bush LIED! Unfortnately they can't seem to come up with proof of any, but keep repeating the mantra because if they repeat it enough times it must be true, right? Bush may not be the ideal president, but compared to Clinton (either one) he has a squeaky clean record. Good or bad he at least tells the truth about what he is doing. As much as a president can anyway.

As much as a president can anyway. Bush gets around the lying issue by hiding behind 9/11 and saying they don't talk about ongoing investigations. For Clinton, he really only had one or two scandals (while in office). Bush is way beyond that, and Cheney seems to be adding a few of his own as not to be left out.
