trance42 Posted February 14, 2006 Author Report Share Posted February 14, 2006 in response to blackt5.. i was under about 15 lbs of boost with a Garrett 30/35r. i was getting allot of wheel hop and i let off. i heard a weird wining/ grinding noise. the next day i was in a turn and felt a hard jolt. now any time i turn the wheel and hit the gas i get the jolt. i have to take the car out of gear to go through a turn. i had it checked buy "A Volvo store" in Virginia beach. the diagnosis was differential. I have emailed quaife to find out what kind of demand we need to make it happen or if they are even interested. The owner's son is named Tim too and he has installed most of my mods, etc. he is very knowledgeable in the Volvo's and loves working on modded Volvo's The shop is MOD FRIENDLY . He can probably install the LSD if you are able to get it. If there is a group buy and we are able to get one made by Quiafe, I will have him install a new clutch, single mass flywheel and the new quiafe LSD !!!
