EST Downpipe and Innovate WB install notes

haha, nahh, his CEL works! yeah, code reader is handy...

didn't you plumb the SAS back into the DP?

the only reason i didn't put it in, is beacause we lost the 90* fitting to make it happen.. so its' just plugged right now, but i'll more than likely plumb it all in.

I did indeed.

and for those who are wondering what we're talking about.. if your car has an airpump and you want to fit an aftermarket downpipe, it is a good idea to plumb the sas valve (regulates airflow from the airpump) back into the new downpipe to avoid a CEL. This can be done using 2 compression fittings...

the car was cold... quiet you..

and i was driving home last night, put my foot in it, and the boost gauge shot up to 14! on the stock chip.. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I pull 20 inches also, at idle not in gear. I'm actually chasing those last two inches, its supposed to be about 22. I'm thinking my vented catch-can was the culprit for lost vac. And subsequently...lost boost! I just installed a new closed system with a one way check-valve. Fingers crossed :)
