BlackT5 Posted March 10, 2006 Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 haha, nahh, his CEL works! yeah, code reader is handy...didn't you plumb the SAS back into the DP?the only reason i didn't put it in, is beacause we lost the 90* fitting to make it happen.. so its' just plugged right now, but i'll more than likely plumb it all in.I did indeed.and for those who are wondering what we're talking about.. if your car has an airpump and you want to fit an aftermarket downpipe, it is a good idea to plumb the sas valve (regulates airflow from the airpump) back into the new downpipe to avoid a CEL. I'm thinking my vented catch-can was the culprit for lost vac. And subsequently...lost boost! I just installed a new closed system with a one way check-valve. Fingers crossed 14 psi on stock chip? What the...Mine does the same thing. the other day it went to 11 and stayed there through the whole powerband. Car has never moved so fast in its life.
