Zappo
They live in the midwest, so if a tornado takes out their church, is that an act of god? If he is struck down by a bolt of lightning while preaching at the pulpit, will his congregation (i.e. family) continue to follow his word? Beiner
They've done that here in TX and we're now passing a law banning protest's outside of churchs, funeral homes, etc... one hour before and after a funeral procession. It will soon be against the law to protest and violators will be put in jail.Undoubtedly these people will have a first amendment heyday with this but in our culture it's should be common knowledge that we respect the dead military hero or otherwise.I agree with Unijoe, it's hard to call myself a follower of Jesus when these guys rear their ugly heads. prasamin
http://www.godhatesfags.com/main/index.htmlthose dummies burning the churches didn't burn the right one apparently. pro or anti homosexuality, your perogative, I won't argue that, but anti-us soldiers and promoting death of ANYONE is blasphemy.Fred Phelps3701 SW 12th Street Topeka, Kansas
Nebor
I've followed this group for the last 10 years.Their church\compound has been bombed, twice. They've been shot, beaten, run over, spit on, etc. 100% of their church's revenue comes from lawsuits filed when someone attacks them. They are a family of lawyers, with only Fred Phelps being disbarred (in exchange for all of his kids keeping their licenses to practice law.) They have successfully extracted millions in damages from those who try to stop them, including state and local goverments. So if you guys are trying to come up with a plan, make sure every single one of them is dead. Volvo Virgin
Tho I don't particulalry agree with the homosexual lifestyle(it probably has more to do with be being hetero than anything else)I can't even begin to fathom this self-righteous assshole and his posse of ignoramuses. You can't even call this guy anti-gayy,more like anti-social.His pompous poor excuse for religion is disrespectful and blasphemus to the families of the fallen soldiers, and to religion in general.I'm sure beyond a shadow of any doubt that his type of worshipping and prayer aren't reaching any God(Got )I've ever trusted. His premise of the US military effort supporting a nation of homosexuals is just an excuse to preach hatred and make money, and are more than likely spurned by his own repressed sexual urgings. If what Nebor says is true,I find it impossible to comprehend that noone has obliterated this whole collection of imbeciles. Edited May 7, 2006 by Volvo Virgin

Chris_R
Sounds like:1) they are trying to drum up new lawsuit material.2) the soldiers need to lower their aim slightly for the 21-gun salute.

Doesn't the Bible say you shouldn't hate anybody but love them like you love yourself? This guy definitly brings a bad name to Christians.
