ViperVette
Maybe Im stupid but what is this thing? Is a race car or a street car or a combo of both? Is it the Admin's personal car? I dont even want to bring up price. I have seen some random pics of this car over the last year but never really got the whole story on what it is besides one wicked Volvo.I would guess street... by the sound deadening canister and the speakers and the radar detector... you know all of that stuff. Didn't we see all of those pictures like... a long time ago? I remember seeing all of those exterior pictures while back. WE WANT NEW ONES! Legbend
Funded by Volvospeed + Google Ads? :P
Nebor
Funded by Volvospeed + Google Ads? Yeah, something like that. I think there was enough leftover for an E90 330i after the budget for the S60R was taken out of the ad revenues. Make check's payable to Atspeed. steve s
what motor? don't u think it's ironic to have some nice mb quarts speakers + amps in a gutted interior ?talk about minimal clearance, i hope that's as far as the helm jointed control arms go.http://graphite.volvospeed.com/suspension/...bone_rotors.jpg

I get the same questions a lot. Both engines are using th same basic set up. 9:1 compression 2.5 liter 30ish pounds of boost. The interior is about half done and will be all graphite and black leather. Because of the roll cage some of the panels had to be made thinner. Also stock speaker loction was obviously not used to I have to redesign some parts. Clearance there is good on the rear rotor. Because of the double wishbone set up deflection keeps the camber the same, or close. Also keep in mind that that rotor is 35mm thick. So there is more space than it looks like
mrmandmman
Looking sweet chuck... ..but the intro page... talk about poor spelling/grammar! come on now! Here I fixed it for you so you can just copy and paste this if you want:For Volvospeed's second project car we were looking for something special. Something that would not only look good but would perform. What we ended up with was a graphite widebody S60. While work is not yet complete, the car is taking shape. Everything from the 12 pound hood to the monoblock brakes is purpose built. With complete thanks to the many sponsors, the car will have a full leather interior and every option you could want in a GT car. Specs, pics, dyno sheets etc..Your at least 4 months from that per my sponsors requests. All the engines parts themselves have been posted before, and EMS was touched on. Thats all I can say though
