I did improve it a little.This is not really a DIY, Just some pics for entertainment!It is probably easer to just buy an OMP!Start with a pile of aluminum......................... Make a cardboard templet.Transfer the pattern to alum plate.................. Hole saw out the center.Drill and slot the smaller holes....................... Die grind a chamfer on the backside.Bolt the plate to the car................................. Cut some tube wedges.Tack weld the large tube wedge to the plate... Remove from car and finish welding.... Bolt back on the car.Using a tubing bender put a small bend in the cross bar (to clear the MC). Notch ends to fit and tack weld into the car. Remove from car and finish weld.Sand, clean, (insert plug) paint with IPD red, and final install in the car. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
