PullMyFinger
No extra stock 850 mani, sorry. When I had mine out for the turbo swap a couple months ago I held them up and compared. They look to be exactly the same positioning. One look at the collector and anybody can tell the S60R mani is way better for flow. My stock mani was cracked in all three collector ports so I ported the hell out of it It *did* actually seem to make a difference, believe it or not. I also ported the hell out of the conical 15g and wastegate at the same time though...
the underlørd
if Miles doesnt, Kevin should have one, ?mine lives in there now.
prasamin
?mine lives in there now.so miles has the S60R manifold, and you don't have your stock T5 one laying around? i know where your S60R one now lives.
PullMyFinger
I think he meant the stocker. You still have your old take-off?
beachnut
i really think the only difference is that the S60 R manifold is stronger, less proned to cracking than the 850 one under heating and cooling. the runners were a bit different, maybe better flowing, but as far as positioning, it was IDENTICAL to the 850 one, you just have to have the different heatshields if you want, but other than that, it's all kosher, no change in downpipe position or turbo position at all.Actually I have my old 850 heatshields back on my manifold and 18T and they fit perfectly! The only difference with the heatshields is that the stock manifold has three threaded bolt holes that line up correctly with the stock manifold shield, whereas the S60R manifold only has two. However, those two are plenty to hold it on securely. Another thing that tells me there's no difference in the manifold positioning is the the turbo shield fits on perfectly too. I wouldn't think that it would fit otherwise.

beachnut
I think he meant the stocker. You still have your old take-off?Well, like I said I do have a loose '98 V70 stock manifold here ... it would just be more effective to picture them side-by-side. Whatever works though!

Whatever works though!haha, I was actually replying to Keving. Asking him if he still has *his* take-off. Since he's local, we could connect and compare manifolds with pics etc. Maybe somebody else in the NWC has one and will chime in...

Nebor
For what it's worth, Doug picked up 45% more flow having his R manifold port matched and stuff.
