You just have to realize,to us 70 series owners the S70R is like the holy grail.They were not imported to North America so there are none here.For that reason many S70 owners have purchased an R emblem and "made" a S70R.Most of the time when a noob from this continent shows up and claims to have an S70R,it's just that the car is badged as an R,and the new car owner doesn't have enough knowledge yet to know the difference.Don't take any offense personally,we're just trying to see what it is you actually have there......but you are a welcomed member no matter what the case. All the leather is 2 tone. I think thats what its called, and the doors have silver trim that say R when you open them. Would getting a new charge cooler be worth it? She said it was "hard to understand" but she believes it is, YV1LT58AXX2593618. I will pop the hood and check the engine number when I get homeThe "X's" in the VIN are a problem. As a result, my copy of the volvo parts program is showing it as an invalid VIN. Re-post an accurate VIN, and we wil be able to tell you more. Would getting a new charge cooler be worth it?An aftermarket intercooler always is a great performance upgrade if you spend the money on a quality piece with less flow restriction.Be prepared to spend $$$$ tho. TurboSam Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 The S70R has alcantara seats. The passenger seat is electronically adjustable like the drivers seat and the speedo is BLUE ! Grey speedo = T5 or others, blue speedo = R (S70 and V70). The R has also the 305mm brakes and a different chassis.
