Vitor
Thank you for the recommendations guys.Let's look at price (is price the lowest common denominator?).I'm proud to say I'm not a cheap service. Not cheap by price, and not cheap by quality standards.Simply put, I charge more because I spend much more time and effort in my work. You don't see me on eBay much during this time of year, I have too much work and I prefer to give the same attention and detail to owners who value quality rather than price.Let's look at 5 year warranties and lifetime warranties (what good is a warranty if it does not take care of your problem?).I have had the opportunity to see the work of two of the cheap services offered in eBay. I received a few of those units because the 5 year and lifetime warranty did not take care of the problem. There is only one way to find out if the ABS works. It must be tested on a real Volvo (I believe that is what you, and everybody in this board drives).I don't test my rebuilt units with BS, like some other vendors claim. (BS = BOLVO SIMULATOR). When I rebuild a unit and it does not work (it happens) I keep looking until I get to test drive the ABS, TRACS, STC and clear all the codes.Let's look at reliability.About four years providing my service to fellow Volvo owners. Also helping around this and other forums whenever possible.By the way, the same ABS unit Volvos have, is used on Jaguars, Nissans, Fords, etc.The other services charge $140.00 or more to rebuild those units because they don't have to deal with my reputation. I don't have time to do all those other brands. But if I got into the game, they would lower their prices just to try to drive me into the ground. Hummmm??? Maybe I should start doing those units.Anyway, I don't think you bought a Volvo because it was cheap.
TEKVOLVO
Didn't BBA also try to rebuild ETM units too i don't know anything about them, they have a good rep. with some techs i know at local dealers.i'm not trying to ruffle any feathers or anything, BBA is driving distance to me. i have a couple of cores for backup which also need to be rebuilt, so i have some room for error. i have found 4-5 companies rebuilding abs units, ranging from $79-$249, all of which seem to have good reps. Vitor has a solid VS folowing and i trust all members using the service have complete satisfaction. thank you for all the recomendations. i'll let you know how it comes out, nothing wronge with a little healthy competion. besides, i like "BOVOLS" anyway.thanks everyone.
