So The Middle East Just Exploded....

Recommended Posts

yea I do. It's one of the most peaceful and friendly places ever.

Yea, The Carefour (that's what we were told it's called) Down by Al Corniche road is one of the most awesome malls I've been to ever. How's the construction coming down there, I plan on visiting again in the future, outside of work that is.

so you mean to tell me that every Quran in circulation today was printed up on one of God's printing presses and distributed to all Muslims in the world and that no where in history man did not have a hand in the printing, and distribution of the Quran?

Black, how many pilars of faith are in your version of Islam?

5

# The profession of faith in Allah

# Prayer

# The paying of alms

# Fasting

# The Pilgrimage to Mecca

And no Jihad is not the 6th pillar.

The mall that has Carefour is called "City Center". They're doing major construction right now in preparation for the 15th Asian Games in December :D

Saudi Arabia did standup against the extrimests recently. Iran is full of radicals, and Syria simply want Isreal out of Al Aqsa = Jerusalem.

Most muslims in the ME are against the extremists, but at the same time want israel out of Jerusalem peacefully.

I did read about Saudi starting to take a more solid stance on the radicals and I thought that was good but how honest will it be? Iran thats going to be a messy situation, and Syria well I cant think of anything good to say about that country.

If most muslims are against the extremists/terrorists then why dont they take action instead of just talking? Yes there is a time for words but at some point those words must be put into action otherwise they are hollow.

As for Isreal leaving I honestly believe it will be a cold day in hell before that happens.

I believe this is what you are talking about "Muslims believe the Qur'an to be the literal word of God (Arabic Allah) as revealed to Muhammad, over a period of twenty-three years by the angel Gabriel and regard it as God's final revelation to mankind."

"Before printing was widely adopted, the Qur'an was transmitted by copyists and calligraphers. "

room for human error

"Soon after Muhammad's death in 632 CE, Islam burst out of Arabia and conquered the Middle East, Northern Africa, Central Asia, and parts of Europe. Arab rulers had millions of foreign subjects, with whom they had to communicate. Thus, the language rapidly changed in response to this new situation, losing complexities of case and obscure vocabulary. Several generations after the prophet's death, many words used in the Qur'an had become opaque to ordinary sedentary Arabic-speakers, as Arabic had changed so much, so rapidly."

well whatch know it did change somewhere along the way

Okay, lets play along.... maybe it was the literal words of God, at that time. who is to say the wording has not been changed (either on purpose or by accident) by someone some where? I think it's kind of odd they say Muslims "believe" that leaves room for doubt. I can believe in something with all my heart even if its untrue but at the end of the day it's still untrue...

does the Qur'an say anything about letting your neighbor live in peace?

My question was not about governments, but about Muslims. WHERE ARE THEY?

And this needs some explaining: Large percentage of Muslims in London sympathize with Tube attacks.

I think you got it backwards DUMBSHIT!!

They kidnapped 2 soldiers to force israel release the THOUSANDS of Lebanese officials in israeli prisons. In return, israel kills 47 CIVILIANS.

If you’re really that angry at the “uncivilized terrorist countries”, maybe you should go fight for your country coward.

And thank the US for your military forces tard.

I have been to israel and the middle east 5 times so far, and have lived there for half a year, so i know exactly what the fuck I am talking about and I would fight for MY country israel in a second. we have been standing up to insane fundamentalist terrorists for decades and will continue to do so. Israel has more power and technology that almost any other nation in the world and if they decide to anhialate (sp) everyone in the middle east aside from themselves (i am not including innocent people in everyone) then the world would be a much more peaceful, safe, and friendly tolerant place free from extremists that blow up innocent children. There is a HUGE difference between what the hezbolla and the IDF does. IDF is organized and for the most part is pretty strategic...hezbollah on the other hand shoots hundreds of missles into towns with innocent people, blows up busses with school children, senior citizens, women...they dont give a shit who they kill...

ISRAEL does not blow up weddings.

ISRAEL does not blow up busses

ISRAEL does not behead infidels.

And if they do, it's an accident, or their cowardly target chose to surround himself 24/7 with people willing to do so and Israel had no choice.

Hezbollah does blow up weddings

Hezbollah does blow up busses

Hezbollah does behead infidels

If Hezbollah doesn't it means Israeli security forces stopped them.

IF Israel takes over the world, we have a democracy with freedom of religeon and woman drivers.

IF Hezbollah, Al Qaida, or Hamas takes over the world, we have a Theocracy, with harsh Islamic law and forced Islam or death, and women in Chadours.

My gun points with the Israeli ones.

And Hezbollah started this. They led the attack, captured two soldiers and blew up eight soldiers who came after them. So you think it's OK they killed eight soldiers since they were just trying to pick up a few bargaining chips for a prisoner swap? YOU are the dumbsh!t.

They are reaping the whirlwind. I hope they get annihilated.

Thank God Israel and the West have superior EVERYTHING in this war. It is only by the good graces, the beliefs, values, moralities, and the grotesquely abused compassion UNIQUE to Western civilization that that whole area hasn't been turned into a glass-top parking lot. We wouldn't have to kill one soldier to vaporize the entire problem in 30 minutes. I don't think if Al Qaida had the nukes and we were running around with AK-47's and converted F-150s that this "reverse-scenario", nor us, would exist for long.

you are THE MAN...you have this shit down PAT.

you live billion miles away and watch cnn and think you know it all. Your post is full of bull and not related to the topic of this thread, so I'm not going to argue with you.

Where did I say it's OK? Why kill civilians??? go for hezbollah if you want to retaliate back.

the thing is ive been to the middle east and lived there, so i dont just sit back and watch cnn

WRONG. They all originally were written by God. The Bible and Torah were modified by men like you and me, but the Quran was/is not.

'you are very mistaken my friend, and if you are too blind to see that then you are just the same as the rest of the extremests and from what im reading it sounds like you agree with the actions that hezbollah takes when it comes to suicide bombings.
