easiest solution, but most impossible. this is because of the lack of tolerance the middle eastern countries have for israel. it is in their religion to destroy israel, so there is no chance they would ever stop fucking around with israel.

They probably like war, if they had a small bit of understanding and put the pride behind them for a while there would be no wars. The world is big enough for all of them.

And I would be happy to forbid everything about religion and all the bad things it brings us.

People don´t think straight when they are too deep into their religion, brain washed...

ok, its not in there religion to destroy isreal. But maybe an intepretation of the religion would lead to people thinking of that.

But on the note of how these sorta things start is like my neighbour, leaves note on my car in driveway saying my old 960 wagon is basically junk and doesnt make the street look good. WTF, do i tell you that your POS aztek looks like shit, even though i think it does, no i dont leave a note saying that, nor do i give 2 shits what car she has. Or the nice friendly visits to my front door to tell me there are still car parts sitting in my backyard and it looks bad from there bedroom window. I dont care what i see in there backyard, they could sit there jerking off naked all day long. See if people didnt bother other people for what goes on inside there property then we wouldnt have invasions or attacks, or whatever.

I have been to israel and the middle east 5 times so far, and have lived there for half a year, so i know exactly what the monkey I am talking about and I would fight for MY country israel in a second. we have been standing up to insane fundamentalist terrorists for decades and will continue to do so. Israel has more power and technology that almost any other nation in the world and if they decide to anhialate (sp) everyone in the middle east aside from themselves (i am not including innocent people in everyone) then the world would be a much more peaceful, safe, and friendly tolerant place free from extremists that blow up innocent children. There is a HUGE difference between what the hezbolla and the IDF does. IDF is organized and for the most part is pretty strategic...hezbollah on the other hand shoots hundreds of missles into towns with innocent people, blows up busses with school children, senior citizens, women...they dont give a stuff who they kill...

Give war a chance!!!

120 Lebanese civilians killed. And how many militants were amongst them? poking zero.

Your reasoning for going to war was always to return your poking soldiers. But, instead all you do is

bombing an international civilian airport, bombing bridges, homes, electricity, fuel, and TV stations,..

israel is as evil as the "terrorists" they're fighting and million times more dangerous with their advanced weaponry.

If you wanted peace, you would've exchange the thousands of lebanese in your prisons for your 2 poking soldiers.

I suppose if someone was was holding your mother in prison, you'd want her back.

Nothing but civilian and baby killers. monkey israel.

Trying doesn't count. If it did, attempted murder would hold the same penalty as murder one ;) .

My neighbor, who is a Christian from Beirut, is worried sick about family still living there b/c of unnecessary and senseless violence. He's not worried about the Islamic group; they're not bombing the living crap out of Beirut. He's worried about who is always portrayed as the "good guys" by the US media, for some reason that I really don't understand.

What Hezbollah did was wrong, no doubt, but Israel's retaliation was even more foolish. And yes, I also understand that Hizbollah guerillas have also launched attacks back at Israel. This is not okay either. However, this is a group of extremists, not a sovereign nation.

I missed the part about Isreal getting out of the ME. even though israelites have been in that area for how many years?

"The earliest known mention of the name 'Israel', probably referring to a group of people rather than to a place, is the Egyptian Merneptah Stele dated to about 1211 BCE. [4] For over 3,000 years, Jews have regarded the Land of Israel as their homeland, both as a Holy Land and as a Promised land. The land of Israel holds a special place in Jewish religious obligations, encompassing Judaism's most important sites — including the remains of the First and Second Temples, as well as the rites concerning those temples. [5] Starting around 1200 BCE, a series of Jewish kingdoms and states existed intermittently in the region for more than a millennium.

Under Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and (briefly) Sassanian rule, Jewish presence in the province dwindled due to mass expulsions. In particular, the failure of the Bar Kochba Revolt against the Roman Empire resulted in the large-scale expulsion of Jews. It was during this time that the Romans gave the name Syria Palaestina to the geographic area, in an attempt to erase Jewish ties to the land. The Mishnah and Jerusalem Talmud, two of Judaism's most important religious texts, were composed in the region during this period. The Muslims conquered the land from the Byzantine Empire in 638 CE. The area was ruled by various Muslim states (interrupted by the rule of the Crusaders) before becoming part of the Ottoman Empire in 1517."

some more israel history

its really amazing a country the size of Israel kicked the stuff out of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Syria in the 1967 Arab-Israeli War

I agree with the eye for an eye thing but sometimes you have to forgive and forget, the son does not need to pay for the sins of the father.

I know we have members of ME decent and of the islamic faith and I dont mean to be critical of them but something needs to be done about the extreamist. It would bode well if "good" muslims took it on theirselves to act and say no more. "Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."

When Israel was attacked repeatedly by several nations, namely the majority of the arab world, and time and time kicks the stuff out of them, I think that they are entitled to any land they want from their conqured enemies.

Also if you remember back a little while in recent history, you will recall that Israel did pull out of Gaza in the fall. They packed up and left an area which they had controlled for 38 years. During this time neither side was willing to budge. Palistinians said they were fighting to expell the jews from the area they claimed was "rightfully" theirs. After 38 years of neither side budging, Israel said ok we'll leave, which in my mind is a really big deal. It is this point in the conflict that the Palistinians true colors shine. Instead of ending the conflict, which this disputed territory was the cause of as they claimed, they decide to launch rockets into Israel proper. There have been more than 1000 rockets sent into Israel since they left Gaza. So much for the territorial dispute, it seems as if Palistine is really set on the total elimination of Israel. And I have to say kidnapping 2 Israeli soldiers is just the icing on the cake for this class act we call palistine. I think kidnapping 2 American soldiers is a better idea than taking 2 Israeli soldiers. Their military has been dealing with these twats for years, and is very experienced and they do not monkey around at all. I really hope they can clean house in "palistine". I have no problem seeing their military operate over their after stuff like this happens. It is never a good thing when non combatants die, never. As long as the appropriate steps are taken to make sure colateral loss of life is kept to an absolute minimum, that is all we can ask. For this reason undertaking military operations in an urban setting is extremely difficult, especially when the enemy chooses to mask themselves with the civilian population.

OoRah Israel.

When do the Indians get their land back from US?

Go Israel, you are entitled to all the land you want as long as you can get it.

That's how almost every nation on the planet was born. You want something, go and earn it, and I'm sure Israel will.

If the "people" of these ME nations were so "good", they would have overthrown their terrorist governments long ago.

If eliminating these terrorists means killing a few of those "brave", "innocent" civilians, so be it. They kill our civilians too.

Some people are really "a little" out of touch with reality in this thread....but nothing can be done about that debating it on the internet anyway.

imagine if all the leaders debated on vs? I call on all leaders to come on vs and debate there issues. Then people will yell "your missle neads more power" "i dont know why x attacked us: you didnt use the search function you moron head of state" "im calling for peace but it seems my country has no power over its people: you didnt do stage zero, you got terrorist leak in your hoses". hehehehehe
