They were persecuted in the past and a large percentage still live on reservations. They were given full citizenship, the right to vote, they have government programs no "white man" has access to. The Navajo even did a hell of a job in the Pacific during WWII to aid the war effort. Did the Indians get a raw deal? yes they did. But it is a better deal than a lot of other cultures got. The problems occur when the radicals come into power, like in Iran. They then recruit from the schools, because the young are more idealistic and easily influenced to support a cause. The majority of the population in Iran is secular (70% I believe) and don't support the policies of their nut case leader. Do they care to have nuclear weapons? Probably not, and if they do have an opinion, they would prefer NOT to have them at all. Just makes them a target.Bad things happen when religion is too close to politics. Or are you going to ignore me again?I will offer to watch the entire video provided I don't start detecting BS. Educating one's self with deemed good information about both sides (or all sides) in a conflict is invaluable to forming a solid position.I have downloaded it and burned a DVD.IMHO the Palestinian side of the issue is murky and compromised (by radical Islam and other special interests) and, if at all possible, I welcome any source that can offer clarity.
