GT2
or your throttle can snap back open due to the pressure and you end up in the ditch or the back of another car. .If this were even remotely true, there would be a million ricers buried in the back of Caddys and such by now! :P
TorqueSteer
Only way to prevent low RPM boost is throttle, larger turbo or AVC-R.Or Civinco
USMC850T
ya... when your throttle snaps shut at 20+ psi and stock BOV can't dump the pressure you can bend stuff, or your throttle can snap back open due to the pressure and you end up in the ditch or the back of another car. i never said it was the cure all for high boost, just another idem to consider if your running high pressure.... gee whiz save the attitude, everyone's so stuck up around here i think i'm about to ignore all the posts.... well not everyone.I've never experienced this phenomenon, and trust me my throttle snaps shut at 18 -19 psi alot :)
freeskier8585
hey do you have to redo the full 10 next year? Back on topic... yea if that was true, my car should be in about 40 pieces right now, i do that very move every time i come off the throttle
TEKVOLVO
I guess none of us should trust CBVs or DVs since only a tuned BOV can save us. Listen.... i wasn't posting about any paticular problem or solution... just suggesting something... read the post, i never claimed a BOV had anything to do with the A/F topic, gee whizzzzz i was mostly going to suggest it for keeping the new found boost, because stock bov can push open with high pressure, but i think i'm done anyway, i'm retarted, sometimes i forget. POOKDIZZLE
Are you referring to me with the pipe? I said I'll post Monday when I can get the car on a lift. I figure you'd rather see good pictures rather than ones with my arms up under the car just snapping away pics w/o knowing what I'm getting. Pics will be up Monday.
